Bio for Presenter Ayan Banerjee

Ayan Banerjee, is an Assistant Research Professor at Arizona State University. His research interest lies in safe, secure and sustainable AI enabled Cyber-Physical systems. His expertise include model based analysis and design of CPS, implementation of CPS with embedded computing, and applications of wearable sensor based control systems in domains such as medical control systems, or gesture recognition. He has continuing collaboration with Food and Drug’sAdministrationand Mayo Clinic.

Aitor Ibarguren – CV

Aitor Ibarguren received his M.Sc.in Computer Science in 2004 from UPV/EHU, Spain. In 2008he completed his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from UPV/EHU. Since 2008 he has been involved in different research activities related mainly with robotics. His main research topics are focused on robotic manipulation, including several aspects ranging from calibration to force control. He is currently working at Tecnalia Research & Innovation as senior researcher, leading Tecnalia’s work in European projects such as REMODEL.
