Alejandro López:

After finishing his studies in control, automation and robotics, Alejandro López took part for two years as technician at the Automotive Smart Factory competence center in advanced manufacturing in AIC (Amorebieta), where he contributed to the startup and maintenance of the facilities, in addition to participating in the development of industrial R&D projects regarding the deployment of 4.0 functionalities. In November 2019, he starts a Ph.D. program in control, automation and robotics at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao. As a researcher, he is part of the GCIS (Grupo de Control e Integración de Sistemas) research group at the Department of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control, where he is committed to the study of smart and flexible automation production systems.

Federico Montori is a postdoctoral researcher since May 2019 with the University of Bologna, Italy,where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in the same year. He received the B.S. and the M.S. in Computer Science, both Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Bologna in 2012 and 2015 respectively. He has been a visiting researcher at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and Lulea Tekniska Universitet, Sweden. He participated in several EU projects and he is now WP leader for the H2020 Project Arrowhead Tools. His primary research interests include mobile crowdsensing, service-oriented computing, IoT automation and data analysis for IoT scenarios.
