Riku Ala-Laurinaho received the B.Sc.and M.Sc. degrees from Aalto University,in 2018 and 2019,respectively. He currently works as a doctoral candidate in the Department of Mechanical engineering at Aalto University.He has also worked as teaching assistant and research assistant in the Department of Computer Science, where hewas involved in development of course materials. His research interests include Digital Twins, Cyber-Physical Systems,and Industrial Internet. Currently, he works with the interoperability of industrial machines.

Muddasir Shakil (m): Studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with the focus on Automation and Control technologies. He received his Master of Science in 2018 at Otto-Von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany. His thesis topic was about to investigate and test the various means of creating a distributed data space with OPC UA. Apart from his studies, he also applied his skills and expertise at Fortiss Gmbh as a working student. Currently, he is associated with LIT Cyber-Physical Systems Lab as a University Assistant. His research interests include investigating architectures of data acquisitions and modular HMI for highly distributed controllers, modularization of control software by means of real-timecontainers, data aggregation with Edge devices for cloud-based production control systems and self-sufficient smart Multi-Agent system for Manufacturing resources.

Short CV – Giovanni Zanuso

Giovanni Zanuso received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in mechatronics engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2007 and 2011 respectively. In 2012, he joined ABB Corporate Research, Sweden, where he worked as a research engineer in the machines and drives team.Since November 2016 he is a PhD student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. His current research interests include diagnostics for electric drives and industrial communication networks.

Jorge Maia, Computer Science bachelor, MSc in Mechatronic Systems candidate,works as IoT Consultant and Innovation Advisor for companies in Brazil and North America and has a wealth of experience in cloud development, hardware design, telecommunication, telemetry systems, and product conception.Jorge is deeply entrenched in Internet of Things and on help cloud adoption, obsessed with delivering them with quality and the speed needed. International speaker,Microsoft Certified Trainer, CompTIA Technical Trainer, Developer and sometimes just a Geek. Awarded in last years with Microsoft MVP in Azure category by his work with IoT and Cloud.
